Then I see my farm and horses through someone else's eyes and I'm ashamed of not being more grateful. :)lrtrovillionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15513336016892778345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-977994828766022340.post-10383579057364496682015-08-01T23:21:32.786-07:002015-08-01T23:21:32.786-07:00Gratitude is indeed so important, and often it tak...Gratitude is indeed so important, and often it takes other people getting joy out of our every day responsibilities that make us stop and realise what we truly have! Thanks for the post; I love focusing on what I can be grateful for, particularly when I'm having a 'woe is me' or 'it's all too much' kind of day - thanks for the reminder!Christinehttp://www.horsecountrybook.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-977994828766022340.post-84739739316394896022015-07-30T19:04:28.156-07:002015-07-30T19:04:28.156-07:00Thank you Linda! I agree with you - I feel rather lost if I don't have stalls to clean or someone of the four footed variety to feed when I get home. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02630390664086565808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-977994828766022340.post-51503910086093658422015-07-28T09:20:01.148-07:002015-07-28T09:20:01.148-07:00Kim, I have also looked longingly at people who ar...Kim, I have also looked longingly at people who are footloose and fancy free, with no responsibilities and no animals to feed. I've imagined myself traveling, or drinking wine at a little cafe and doing whatever, without having to go home and tend to critters. But as I've learned more about myself, I've come to realize that it's those same responsibilities that ground me in life, and give me a sense of purpose. Kudos to you for providing a home for these senior horses. Sounds like you have found your calling. Linda Bensonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17948970237555890150noreply@blogger.com
